Prophetic Revelation: Networking the Nations

Clean.. Clean.. Clean..!

Hosea 10:12 'Sow for yourself righteousness; reap in mercy; break up the fallow ground. For it is time to seek the Lord, Till He comes and reigns righteousness on you.'

Clean, clean, clean cried the famous evangelist Smith Wigglesworth as the power of God touched him. He had been kneeling on the carpet for hours crying out to God in desperation for God to baptise him with His fire; finally God came and Wigglesworth knew the power and fire of God had touched him. Wigglesworth understood that to do the work he knew God had called him to do he needed to be clean.

Many times I have been in church meetings where people have sung or cried out for the fire of God. As we have lead worship, Robbie and I have often lead people in the song Send your fire. Did we really know what we were asking God for?

In recent months after having a powerful dream where God touched me with his Holy Fire. I attended a conference where, praise God my dream became a reality. I was touched by the fire of God and knew I would never be the same again. I did not feel too much to be honest, just fell face down on the floor and received in faith what the prophet was prophesying over me and embraced what God was doing.

Since then if I am completely honest things have been tough. God has been revealing to me the terrible, awful sin deep inside of me and also the things that I have felt I could get away with! The things most people do, so it feels okay to (complaining, pretending not to gossip but it is actually gossip, not giving God enough time, not sharing the gospel with someone, not loving my neighbour etc). The pain of this process has been unbearable at times and occasionally I have literally begged God to stop.

The deepest pain is realising what I have reaped from the sin and the terrible impact it has had on my life and that of other people. The reality of these verses has hit hard: Job 4:8 Even as I have seen, those who plow iniquity and sow trouble reap the same. Proverbs 22:8 He who sows iniquity will reap sorrow, and the rod of His anger will fall. He is burning up all the rubbish inside of me but of course it does not just burn up without any involvement from me. I have been having to remember, think about and then deal with the sin, bringing it to the foot of the cross and in true repentance ask God to forgive me and clean me. This is stuff I really do not want to be thinking about, I have spent my life trying to avoid thinking about it.

AWonderfully through this cleaning process I have discovered the goodness of God to a new level. He is so gentle, so merciful, so full of grace, forgiveness and overwhelming love. His ways are also so surprising and wonderful. He has been doing the most surprising miracles through the whole process of cleaning. Physical healings have happened as I have repented of sins and forgiven others. (I believe that much of our physical ailments can be the enemy keeping us sick so as we repent he has to let go of this and we are healed) I can also feel the presence and anointing of God increase in my life as I get cleaner. I know in these end times God needs His people cleaned up to be clean vessels of honour in His service. Without repentance there may well be many landing strips for the enemy to keep us down.

Proverbs 26:2 Like a flitting sparrow, like a flying swallow, so a curse without a cause shall alight. The enemy is now in a crazy panic as he realises we are nearing the end. He is upping his efforts to keep the army of God down. Can you feel it? People on their knees in DEEP REPENTANCE will halt the enemy as he knows that those landing strips will be closed down and he will have no legal right to land there. We also need to be praising God and proclaiming the Word of God OUT LOUD!

Can we all pray this prayer together? Father in heaven please clean me up, please baptise me with your fire so that I can be used by you to maximum effect in these end times. After we have prayed this - can we be brave and face those darkest sins in our lives, asking God for forgiveness? Can we say sorry for those little sins we have been committing which actually are so damaging to us and others? Let us humbly come before Him knowing that He is gentle, loving and a forgiving God who is also full of wonderful surprises!
